free games the legal way
I came across a website yesterday that had me wondering. They advertised free game giveaways each weekend. At first, I was skeptical about this. I know that there are many sites that will give you games for free, but they are illegal versions of the games.
This site actually gives you legal copies of the games. Each day on the weekend, there is a different game that is given away for free at the publisher’s request. This is a great way for publishers to get people to try their products. So you get to download it for free. Then you are playing it when your best friend comes over and now they want a copy. They will then go and buy the game. Its a win-win situation. You get free games and the publishers get free advertising.
These same people also have another website where they give away regular software for free as well. That site has downloads available on various days throughout the week. So I highly suggest checking it out each day. You never know what you will find.

Well this is a really interesting way to promote their products. Let’s see if this works, everyone likes free stuff and it is a very cheap promotion tools. Let’s see if some other companies join the movement.

That sounds like a good idea. I love free things…I always check freestufftimes.com and get free magazines from watching ads on adperk.com.
